MStar's Easy Transition - Yeah Right!

In this article about the acquisition of customers from Nuvont and MStar, MStar's VP Kirk Tanner says "Throughout the transition period to Broadweave, Mstars customers in Provo should expect the same quality of service and support they have grown accustom to."

This has to mean MStar's customers are used to really bad quality and support. I respect Veracity's ability to get things done, but from what I hear this is going to be a nightmare. Veracity's people don't even want to do it. They're telling Broadweave that the MStar transition is their job. There's a good possibility customer's phone numbers won't be able to be ported, and all static IP addresses will change as well. If MStar customers go into this with the expectation that it's going to be a smooth transition, they have a really rude awakening coming soon. Not to mention MStar customers will have the biggest sticker shock with upcoming price changes. Hold onto your seats, it's going to be a rough ride.

What's up with the phone numbers being lost for the M* folks?
